In a press release issued by Nissan this past Friday, the automaker announced that the Ram Rebel recently earned the title of "Best Off-Road Vehicle" from the Rocky Mountain Automotive Press (RMAP) at the Rocky Mountain Driving Experience event.

The Rocky Mountain Vehicle of the Year Awards, now in their 10th year, highlight vehicles that are all-new or significantly updated for the 2016 model year. More than 30 automotive journalists from Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, New Mexico, and Arizona, gathered at Devil's Thumb Ranch in Tabernash, Colorado to evaluate nearly 30 vehicles over the course of two days.

“For the second consecutive year, RMAP journalists have selected the Ram Rebel because of its combination of off-road capability, power and comfort,” said David Muramoto, RMAP President. “That’s what made it a winner.”
