This past Thursday, Ram announced that, for the second year in a row, the ProMaster City has been named Commercial Green Car of the Year by the editors of Green Car Journal. The news came out of the 48th annual San Antonio Auto & Truck Show on November 10.

GCJ editors evaluated all potential commercial vehicles in the US, considering a number of environmental attributes as well as overall functionality, versatility, safety, value, and style. The Ram ProMaster City was praised for delivering best-in-class fuel economy, lots of cargo room, and nearly 2,000 pounds of payload capacity.

“The Ram ProMaster City delivers exactly what small businesses, tradesmen and fleets need with its class-leading fuel efficiency, ease of carrying and loading cargo and maneuverability in an urban environment,” said Ron Cogan, editor and publisher of Green Car Journal and “Higher efficiency means less fuel use, lower operating costs and lower carbon emissions, important attributes for fleets that wish to operate vehicles with lower environmental impact.”
